For our second anniversary, James and I adventured westward to hike through the Black Hills. We hiked around Sylvan Lake, through the Sunday Gorge, up to Harney Peak, to Devil's Bathtub, and numerous small hikes at random stops (including the Dino Park in Rapid City). We enjoyed dinner at Alpine Inn (which we would highly recommend just as it was highly recommended to us) and checked out Firehouse Brewery for burgers. We drove through the Bad Lands and would love to have hiked them if time had allowed. And of course, we drove to and from Minnesota and listened to sermons along the way. And by listened, I mean I slept.
