I love a couple that wants to adventure and is so willing to climb rocks and sit in pine needles - even in heels - because they are that chill and they trust my vision. These two were rockstars during their engagement session and pretty natural at this whole modeling gig. I'm sure grateful for amazing couples like you!
I am so inspired by this amazing group of runners! Each of them chose to fund raise for Team World Vision in order to provide children in Africa with clean water. Read that last sentence again. It's a real issue that decides the future of many: will they go to school or travel the miles to fetch water, will they be safe on their way to get said water or will they face human traffickers or wild animals, even once they get the water they risk waterborne illnesses. Water is life, and clean water means a future of possibilities, including the simple reality of living to grow beyond the school years. These runners blessed 13,377 people with clean water by raising $668,870! I'd say that deserves a round of applause.
It's such a treasure to enjoy these moments as a couple before this family of two becomes a family of three (excluding the cats!). As Allie and Ian await baby Stewart, we were able to take an afternoon at Como Park to capture these sweet moments before everything changes -- for the better. I'm a big believer in family and the chaos those sweet kiddos bring, and based on the pure joy on their faces, I'd say Allie and Ian are, too! Bring on that newborn smell and those tiny precious snuggles. I hear the sleepless nights are worth it.
These two. When we first met, I know things would go swimmingly. They were passionate about family and a chance to celebrate, and the other details were shaped in and around this idea. The photographs for the day came from that very same energy. They were there, together, at the front of the church, because the people sitting in the pews had helped get them here. And these are the very same people who will be going forward with them as they grow in love throughout their marriage. It's these relationships that captured me as I captured them. It was a ceremony rich with tradition, a reception rich with family, and a marriage that will be rich with love.
